Updated 01 Dec: Billions of Dollars in New Taxes Under Obama's Government Ran Healthcare Bill
48
Lets go right to the facts and let you decide. 40% excise tax on insurance policies costing more than $8,500 for singles and $23,000 for families. 0.5 percent increase in Medicare payroll tax starting in 2013 also couples earning more than $250,000 annually would see the tax increase to 1.95 percent. 5 percent tax on elective cosmetic surgery performed after Jan. 1 , and a fee on manufacturers and importers of certain medical devices could start in 2010. The bill would impose a 5.4 percent surcharge on adjusted gross incomes of more than $500,000 for singles and $1 million for joint filers beginning in 2011 if the house passed health care bill gets into this new bill. Oh but wait a minute didn't Obama say he would not raise your taxes! People you better listen up and contact your congressmen and let them know that you will not support this government take over. If the bill gets passed then health care insurance will skyrocket plus the treatment prices will double in no time. You're going to start paying all these taxes but not get the benefits of the health care bill for years. Paying for something and not getting the benefits is totally wrong! Is this why you voted for Obama, if the answer is no then you screwed up people and now you and your children and their children will be paying for this screw up for most of their lives with worst health care than we have now. I told you in one of my earlier hubs that a big tax is coming and this is just part of it. There will be a lot more things taxed before you see any benefits. We don't have any money left and Obama keeps spending, can't you see what he is doing? Please watch what's going on and listen! I don't think anyone in their right mind wanted this kind of change by Obama or any other president. Agree or disagree but please feel free to say your opinions!
As we can see today 01 Dec, 2009 that there is more taxes besides the ones listed above in the Obama health care bill. Obama will have a hard time passing such a bill now that the American people see where it will lead us! Not only will the rich be taxed, but the poor and middle income will be as well. This is something America does not need in hard times as we're in at the present time.

I have no problem with the rich getting taxed more. It's their rich buddies that got all that bailout money. The rich are always finding ways to trick the middle class into thinking the poor are the enemy when, really, its the rich.
